IT’S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!!!!!!! I know fall is here when football time rolls around. I attended the Titan’s game on Sunday and it was a tough loss, but I thought the team played hard and it was a typical Titans game, coming down to the last few seconds. Have you learned NEVER to leave a Titan’s game early? I know we stay until it is really over, because the score can change (and the play can too) on a dime! Titan’s football reminds me of my career in Real Estate! If we don’t like what is happening in our business, we wait a few minutes (or days) and it will change! Change is good and can bring a new challenge!! The Cooke Team is still doing our thing, listing and selling houses! The market seems to be holding it’s own at this time. The rates have dropped again and the phones seem to be ringing again. However, we are never to busy for another source of business, so if you know someone needing a Real Estate Professional, please remember us!

A couple things I want to bring to your attention that is going on in our world! First of all, I am still hunting for some ladies that want to get together and play golf on a Friday afternoon in October at a discounted rate, and then I am buying us all dinner!!!!!!!!!! Who is in?????? If you are game, call me or email me immediately. We are trying to secure a date and I need to know how many are playing. We can play 9 holes (our own ball) or an 18 holes best ball scramble - let me know what you all want and I will get it booked! Secondly, those of you that are in Rutherford County, I have a question for you? Are you a member of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, or is your business? We kicked off our Annual Membership Drive Wednesday and we are out telling the Chamber story. My goal is to recruit ten new members in two weeks!! I need your help. If you or your company are not a member and would like to hear the Chamber story and how it has helped my business, let me know and we will schedule about 15 minutes for me to come by and visit with you. I think you will find that our Chamber is second to none, and has an awesome economic development structure in place for our future along with so much more! Exciting stuff! I look forward to talking with you about it soon!!
Until next time, all my best~

| Bathroom Light Replacement
If your bathroom light is a tacky fluorescent, replace it with a decorative vanity light.
Materials:
- Flat- and Phillips-head screwdrivers
- Circuit tester
- Needle-nose pliers to bend and shape wires
- Wire nuts
- Dry-wall-mounted junction box
- Toggle bolts or wood screws to secure new light fixture
- Safety goggles
Steps:
1. Turn off the power to the circuit at the breaker box. 2. Remove the cover and bulb from the existing fixture, then detach the base of the fixture (figure A). Use a circuit tester to make sure the power is off, disconnect the wires from the fixture, and remove it from the wall. If the original light was mounted without a junction box, you'll need to install one to comply with building codes. 3. Attach a mounting bracket for the new fixture to the junction box (figure B). 4. Connect the wires for the new fixture. Attach black to black and white to white, and secure the connections with wire nuts. 5. Press the wires back into the box (figure C), and attach the new fixture to the mounting plate. 6. Insert the bulbs and attach any shades or covers. Then turn the power back on at the breaker box.
